High Country Beverage (HCB) has been a part of the Northern Colorado community since 1996 when Dave Nichols left his Vice President position at Coors Brewing Co. and purchased two local beer distributors to merge and create something new.

Over the years, High Country has grown to distribute some of America’s most beloved beers, trending beverages, and heavily sought-after craft beers to retailers across the northern Front Range and the Western Slope of Colorado.  Distributing to more than 2,000 accounts, the High Country Beverage team delivers thousands of cases every day.

This independent, family-owned and operated business does more than distribute beverages

HCB actively participates in local Colorado communities to make a larger impact on the quality of life in our state. So, you will often find their logo on nonprofit event pages as recognition for their high-level support.

Foothills Gateway dedicated a conference room to the Nichols family in March 2017, with gratitude and tear-filled eyes, to recognize the business’ long-time partnership and deep-rooted support.

High Country Beverage has supported Foothills Gateway for almost 20 years. They took their support beyond typical corporate giving by partnering with the Foothills Gateway Supported Employment Program in 2006. This marked the beginning of employing individuals with disabilities in their local warehouse. HCB staff work side-by-side with job coaches to ensure a strong, collaborative relationship. The practice continues in their new locations, as HCB works to hire people with disabilities who live in those communities.

The HCB Team keeps their community in mind with everything they do. Above all, it is important to the Nichols family to support each of our community members like they have supported High Country Beverage over the years.
