Meet the CEO

August 10, 2020
Decades of Dedication & Embracing Every Opportunity to Grow

Foothills Gateway’s recently named Chief Executive Officer, Erin Eulenfeld, first came to Foothills Gateway in July 1978. To say that things were different then would not tell the whole story; Foothills Gateway, Inc. (FGI) operated in a vastly different world with a distinctly different focus at that time.

Erin Eulenfeld (middle) receives recognition for 40 years of service at the Foothills Gateway Staff Appreciation Dinner in 2018.

Over the years, Erin has witnessed and participated in many systems’ changes and she’s done it all – provided direct services, case management services, and developed and implemented new programs and service delivery models. Additionally, Erin’s connection to Foothills Gateway is a deeply personal one. Two of Erin’s children and a grandchild received services and service coordination through Foothills Gateway when they were young.

Erin has a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Oregon University. She is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Her education and CRC certification have provided opportunities to expand her knowledge in the following areas:

  • The development of career acquisition and personal independence in the daily lives of persons with disabilities;
  • Social and psychological impact of disability on an individual and family;
  • And federal, state, and private service delivery systems for persons with disabilities.

Erin enjoys being physically and mentally active; specifically, she enjoys reading to increase her knowledge in a wide variety of areas.

Foothills Gateway is fortunate to have Erin as our passionate and dedicated leader!
