A follow up training to ‘Guardianship & Less Restrictive Options’ offered by The Arc of Larimer County.

This class will guide participants through the process of completing the paperwork necessary to petition for guardianship and/or conservatorship. This step by step class will help you fill out forms and understand the needed documentation and fees associated with this process.

In light of the current pandemic, this training will be held entirely online. Prior to the event, attendees will receive a PDF including the documents the class will walk you through. If you are unable to print the documents for yourself, Foothills Gateway will ensure you get a hard copy of the packet; simply check “no” when asked about your ability to print during sign up.

It is strongly recommended you attend The Arc’s Guardianship workshop before attending this class. However, since the next Arc workshop is not scheduled until August 27^th, we encourage you to discuss the need for guardianship with your Case Manager or their supervisor.

**Families MUST receive The Arc Workshop certificate AND attend the Petition Assistance Class to qualify for an FGI stipend**
