The Flying Pig 5K is back and HYBRID to fit your comfort level!
ABOUT THE FLYING PIG 5K
The Flying Pig 5K is a fundraiser to benefit families in the Family Support Services Program (FSSP). FSSP provides funds designated to assist families who provide support at home to their family member with an intellectual/developmental disability or delay.
Fundraised dollars will be used to offer services to families in the program and on the waiting list for the program. The emphasis will be on providing programs to enhance respite, sibling support, and educational services to help preserve family balance.

HYBRID 2021
Virtual Runners may submit their 5K (3.1 mile) time by utilizing a run tracking app. You will screenshot your time in the app and submit through ACTIVE to be approved and added to the race. If you win a prize through your virtual run, you will be notified the week of Monday, April 19th.
There will be blocks of time in the first weeks of April when you will be able to stop by Foothills Gateway and pick up your race t-shirt. Questions? Email us at events@foothillsgateway.org
In-Person Runners will join us at Spring Canyon Park on Sunday, April 11, to run the CERTIFIED COURSE (virtual runners are not eligible to qualify for the BOLDERboulder). You will receive your t-shirt the day of the event, but prize notifications will be made the week of April 19th. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU ARE NOT RUNNING.
Depending on in-person event size, we may have starting waves to provide optimal space for social distance. For now, the starting time is set for 8:30 a.m.
Be sure to park on the south side of Spring Canyon Park (near the dog park)! Our team will be under the pavilion ready to check you in by the starting line! Plan for Colorado weather and let us know if you have questions!
