cognitive disabilities. Learn how you can positively impact your business

valuable work skills, will be part of a panel to answer your questions at

Foothills Gateway Supports Amendment 51
On Tuesday, September 16th,
2008, the Foothills Gateway, Inc. Board of Directors passed a resolution in
support of Amendment 51. Amendment 51 is a statewide initiative to end the
waiting list for services for individuals with cognitive disabilities
through a phased-in sales tax of 2/10 of 1%. To learn more about this

Foothills Gateway, Inc.
(FGI) is a non-profit organization that functions to
efficiently coordinate and provide services for Larimer County citizens with
cognitive disabilities and their families. Established in 1972 to provide
a community-based alternative to institutional care, Foothills Gateway has been
designated by the State of Colorado as the community centered board, or single
entry point, for these services in Larimer County.
Services and supports are provided through a variety of programs aimed at
addressing the employment, housing and social needs for eligible individuals and
their families. Funding for services and support comes from federal, state,
county and private funds.
Mission:
The
mission of Foothills Gateway, Inc. is to empower and support citizens with
cognitive disabilities, their families, and other populations, as
appropriate, to achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Vision Statement:
Foothills Gateway, Inc. will be the
premier provider of supports for individuals with cognitive/intellectual
disabilities, and their families, while maintaining our guiding principles,
as we grow;
